Corrections, disputes, and removals for your listing

Charlotte Assisted Living Facility Guide is an independent directory of assisted living facilities in the Charlotte, NC area. Listings are built from publicly available business information. Scores and review summaries are computed from public Google reviews using a single, fixed rubric applied equally to every facility listed here. Being listed is free, and payment never changes a score or a ranking. This page explains how to request corrections to your listing details, dispute a score, or request removal. Fixing incorrect details

Factual fields on your listing (facility name, address, phone number, website, hours of operation, and services offered) can be corrected when you provide the correct information and something to verify it against, such as your official website or your Google Business Profile. Once a correction is applied, it will remain in place even when the directory refreshes its data in future updates.

Challenging your score

Scores are never edited by hand. A dispute is a claim that the underlying data is wrong. This means your facility was matched to the wrong business profile, reviews were credited to your listing by mistake, or a summary of your reviews misrepresents what reviewers actually wrote. When you file a dispute, the source data is re-checked and your listing is regenerated from the corrected information. A dispute is not a request for a higher number.

Requesting removal

Listings are removed when the facility has permanently closed, when a duplicate listing exists for the same business, or when the listing falls outside the scope of this directory. The directory also re-verifies all listings monthly and automatically removes closed businesses found during that cycle. If your listing is accurate and in scope, a removal request may be declined, and you will receive a plain explanation of why.
